Our Snr. Pastor
Pastor Adebiyi Famoyegun was born on the 24th of April 1964 and he is from Ilesa, Osun State, Western Nigeria.
After his primary and secondary education, he went on to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan and graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1989. He is a holder of a PGD (1991) in Public and Preventive Medicine and a member of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association.
After his mandatory youth service in Ondo State, he cut his teeth as a Veterinary Phamaceutical Marketer. He later veered into small animal practice and livestock consultancy. In the later years of his practice, he became an Adjunct Public Health and Preventive Medicine Consultant, and he is currently running his own Agro-Export Business.
He joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1996; became a worker and was first appointed as a Parish Pastor in 1999. He later got transferred to the then Ikoyi/VI family at Resurrection Parish, Lagos Province 6 from RCCG Lagos Province 9 in 2002.
He has been rising through the spiritual rank since then till he was promoted to the post of the Assistant Pastor In Charge of Province APICP(Admin) in 2010 and later became the Pastor In Charge of Lagos Province 6 in 2015, the position he held for 7 years by God’s special grace till August 2022, when he was transferred to RCCG Lagos Province 16 at Peace Assembly as the Pastor In Charge.
Pastor ‘Biyi, as he is fondly called, is committed to raising and mentoring leaders. He is a passionate believer in leaving legacies wherever one finds himself doing the Kingdom assignment.
He has been married to his sweetheart and wife of his youth, Oyepeju, for years, and they are blessed with three wonderful children (2 Girls and a Boy), Oluwatosin, Toluwanimi, and Oluwatidarasimi.
