About Our Church

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), founded in 1952, has Pastor E.A. Adeboye as the General Overseer. The church has a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the earth. It is a Bible-believing church where the teaching and missionary approach emphasise the proper conduct and moral behaviour of people.

The church has an appeal to all types of people worldwide, with a determination to teach people in their various geographical areas, stages of secular life, and levels of spiritual development.

The church has grown to over 23,000 parishes worldwide (July 2011) and recently, it has established missions in many African countries, as well as in Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia.

Peace Assembly is a provincial parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Lagos Province 16. RCCG is one of the fastest-growing Pentecostal denominations in the world. RCCG started in 1952 with just 12 members but has grown into a megachurch with parishes spread across the five continents of the world under the present leadership of Pastor E.A Adeboye and his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye
